My Role

As the Product Design Prototyper on the Remembering AR project, I acted as the central technical designer for prototyping the entire end-to-end AR app in Unreal Engine. Working with VFX artists, 3D generalists, animators, production, and the client, I created the entire UX flow in Unreal Engine, implemented a novel light-baking technique for performant realism, engineered a video frame detection & tracking solution with ARKit, created dynamic room-aware asset spawning and skeletal mesh systems, and more; ultimately playing a critical role to create the MVP that greenlit the final phase of production by Disney's CEO.
